     This edition is marred by all kinds of errors; some could perhaps be overlooked as mere misprints, but there are also many very serious ones. And this is in an edition that purports to be the most complete and authoritative version as distinct from the previous ones which "contained numerous mistranscriptions and typographical errors".

       In this edition some errors from 1993 have been corrected, but many remain and numerous new ones appear. The endnotes contain faulty translations from Latin, Italian and French.
